Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox had studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her budget. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. In both commercial terms and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... It's also her first independently released album. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics.
